Caring for dry skin step by step

Dry or dehydrated skin?
Dry skin lacks lipids, dehydrated skin lacks water. Dry skin tends to look dull and feel tight all day, while dehydrated skin can even look shiny and still feel tight. Layering hydration helps with dehydration – a toner and a serum, for example the Snail face serum with five types of hyaluronic acid, intended mainly for dry and mature skin. Treat dry skin above all to oils and nourishing creams.
Dry skin in winter
Heating and frost dry the skin out even more. A light day cream such as the Vráskožrút day cream may not be enough for very dry skin in winter. Add a few drops of an oil serum under it, or treat yourself to a nourishing balm for the night.
When dry skin starts to flake
Do not rub the flakes on your cheeks and around your nose. Gently remove make-up with an oil, moisten the skin with a toner and apply an oil serum or balm to skin that is still damp, so that the oil keeps the moisture in. You will find more oil serums in the face oils category.
