How to use a face serum
Apply the serum to clean skin after the toner, morning and evening. Two to three drops are enough – press them with your fingertips into your face, neck and décolleté and let them absorb for a moment. More drops will not give your skin more – regularity matters more.
In what order to apply serum and cream
The rule is from the lightest texture to the richest. Light hydrating serums, such as Malachite – biphasic serum with five kinds of hyaluronic acid, belong straight after the toner and under the cream. The oil serum Kopaničiarska žehlička®, on the other hand, is applied as the last step, after the cream. In winter, when skin needs more nourishment, this layer of oil is especially lovely. If you have oily skin, reach for a lighter serum instead.
Retinol or bakuchiol?
Serums with retinol and glycolic acid belong in the evening ritual, and it is better to alternate them than to layer them in a single evening. For sensitive skin that tolerates retinol less well, there is bakuchiol from the seeds of the babchi plant. It recalls retinol in its effects but is gentler on the skin. You will find it in the serum Bosorkin lektvar, which also suits very sensitive skin.
Serum for skin prone to acne
Skin prone to imperfections deserves its own serum too. The snail face serum is intended for dry, slack and mature skin and also suits skin prone to acne. Diamant – bioactive facial elixir for problematic skin combines bakuchiol with blue chamomile and you will find it in a favourable 3+1 pack.
