What you ask most often
Does it protect from the sun?
No. Mrkvička contains no SPF or synthetic UV filters and does not protect against the sun. For longer time in the sun, apply a sunscreen with SPF first.
In what order with a sunscreen?
SPF first, then Mrkvička. The day before, treat yourself to a scrub that smooths your skin, drink plenty of fluids, especially water, keep your skin well hydrated and avoid direct sun between 11 am and 3 pm.
Why carrot?
Beta-carotene supports a lovely tan, so it's worth including foods rich in antioxidants and beta-carotene in your diet too, carrots for example. The concentrated carrot root extract has a high content of provitamin A and works against wrinkles and skin ageing.
What is the delicate shimmer in the oil for?
It highlights your tan and gives your skin a golden sheen. Shake the bottle before use so that it disperses.
Won't it stain my clothes?
It can stain light-coloured clothing, as the oil contains natural pigments. Let it soak in well before getting dressed.
How can I check that it suits me?
Do a patch test. Apply a little oil to a small area, for example your forearm or behind your ear, and wait 24 to 48 hours. If no redness, itching or swelling appears, you can use it.
Can I use it outside summer too?
Yes. Some customers use it all year round, for its scent and soft skin.
