Scrubs
Scrubs for the body
A body scrub is a moment just for your skin. Gentle sugar grains slowly dissolve during the massage, release dead cells, and the oils nourish and soften the skin. After rinsing it stays smooth, supple and softly scented. We make our sugar body scrubs in our own production in the EU.

How to choose a body scrub
Choose sugar scrubs mainly by scent. The Beauty and Purity sugar body scrub smells fresh and floral, while Sweet Shop smells sweetly of caramel and vanilla. Both cleanse the skin gently without disturbing its protective lipid layers. On contact with water the oil turns into a milk, so the scrub rinses off easily and you do not have to follow with a cream.
The whole Sweet Shop scent – shower oil, shower gel, sugar scrub, whipped body butter and perfume – is in the set Fragrance ritual Sweet Shop.

How to use a body scrub
Apply the scrub in a thin layer to damp skin on your body, avoiding the face. Massage it in with slow circular movements, then rinse with lukewarm water. The sugar grains dissolve during the massage, which is why they do not scratch the skin. A sugar scrub is sometimes simply called a body scrub. Finally, gently pat your skin dry with a towel so that a thin, silky film remains on it.
How often to use a body scrub
Your body will enjoy a scrub two to three times a week, and more sensitive skin needs it only once a week. Do not use a scrub on irritated skin, and wait a day after shaving or waxing.
A scrub for feet, elbows and knees
Areas with rougher skin appreciate a scrub most. Massage it gently into your feet, elbows and knees, where the skin tends to be driest in winter. It also works as a foot scrub before a pedicure. After your bath, wrap your feet in body butter.
A sugar or a salt scrub?
Sugar dissolves in water and is gentler on the skin, which is why a sugar scrub also suits dry skin, which it soothes and softens. A salt scrub tends to be coarser. In winter, when skin under clothing dries out quickly, a sugar scrub brings back its glow and prepares it for a body oil or body lotion.
