How to choose herbs for women

Lady's mantle is nicknamed the queen of women's herbs for its long tradition. Common yarrow from the aerial parts is a gentle herbal drop for calm days. In the menopause years people traditionally reach for the tincture from the root of black cohosh and the flowers of red clover. Chinese angelica from the root (Angelica sinensis) is one of the herbs of traditional Asian care for women.

How to take drops for women

Herbal drops are taken on an empty stomach, usually 20 drops (a teaspoon) three times a day, washed down with a glass of water. For lady's mantle and red clover we recommend taking the drops half an hour before a meal. You will always find the exact dosage in the product description. Shake the bottle before use and do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Herbs during menopause

Menopause is a natural stage that deserves more calm and attention to yourself. Women often look in it for herbs that are traditionally taken for wellbeing in this period – most often black cohosh, red clover and lady's mantle. Complement the herbal drops with time outdoors, good sleep and moments just for yourself.

Lady's mantle – the herb of the morning dew

Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) grows in meadows, and drops of dew linger in the morning on its fan-shaped leaves. It was they who once fascinated the alchemists, hence its Latin name. The aerial parts are used for the tincture. You can read more about lady's mantle on our blog.

When to consult a doctor

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. During pregnancy, while breastfeeding and if you take medication, including hormonal contraception or hormonal treatment, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The tinctures contain alcohol and are not intended for children.
